407 fixes that one too.



If you don't want to upgrade epicor has a one off for each of these problems
it involves replacing files on each client where the user does job creation
or quote entry.



I had to use them while I waited for 407 upgrade to be released.

407 fixes the check box issue you described. You are probably having the
same problem in quote entry if you use that module.

Last weekend we upgraded from v6 to v8.03.406A. Other than the
predicted chaos on Monday and some performance issues we cleared up by
Tuesday afternoon, I think we had a fantastic upgrade, and we basically
did it ourselves! <pat pat pat> Of course, it wouldn't have been
NEARLY as successful (ok, not at all successful) if not for the help of
the experts on this list. Thanks to everyone for all the advice and
brainstorming.

We're seeing some issues with personalizations and customizations not
"sticking" - they seem to work for a day or so, then disappear. We've
also seen some areas where a check-box becomes unavailable after being
selected (the "Released" box in Job Entry, for example).

Can anyone comment as to the value of 407A vs 406A - does it fix issues
like I mentioned? We don't use customer price-lists, so that shouldn't
be a major issue.
