V8 making a customization a global default

I don't have the steps off the top of my head but you will also need to get
a document

from support to set up the process maintenance and sub-process maintenance
portion

of the update to get the right click functionality to call the correct Job
Entry screen if your

users enter job entry that way too.

Lets see who's faster... I called support 20 minutes ago and asked how
to make a v8xx customization to Job Entry the global default for Job
Entry -- without having to select the customization each time. I was
promised a callback but am through holding my breath.

off the top of their head? I mean you have to navigate through 20 voice
prompts to get to the right support queue.



Press 1 for production, press 2 for financials, press 3 for
technical....

upgrades, press 3 for tools. Press 4 for customization and
personalization....

Doesn't this all imply that your call is being routed to someone with
expertise on your issue that fits the category you chose? Why bother? If
the frontline can't answer the question anyway, why waste my time
navigating the prompts? It might as well be one queue for all calls and
someone will call you back.
