Vantage 6.1 (patch 6.10.532)

I just installed it last night. This morning, other than having to bring
back all of our modified user forms, I am having funny issues that I think
are related to AMM. I don't get default warehouses automatically filling in
as they did before. This is happening at issuing and shipping. It may also
be related to a single workstation as that workstation had other video
issues this morning. I will post more information about the problem as I am
able to investigate it further.

I applied patch 532 on November 19. We have not experienced any issues. At
least none that can be attributed to the patch, that is... ;-)

We didn't apply it because we didn't know it was there. Do you guys get
notified of new patches or do you check the website off and on all the
time?



We may skip this one - we need the new patch 533 that will fix a bug
problem we have with quote copied line items for lumber that are checked
to update and skew production costs. We can copy a part and update and
we can run the Product Configurator and get good costs, but as soon as
we copy a line from another quote we get bizarre numbers.



I'll check to see what 532 will do for us.

I am not notified of new patches by Epicor, but I do check (in a manner of
speaking) the website every time I logon to our network. I do this by first
having the 6.1 patches webpage saved as a favorite in IE with the checkbox
for "Make this page available offline" checked and then setting up that
offline webpage for automatic synchronization when I logon to our network.
I have found this to be the easiest way for me to stay current with the
patches, but I would certainly like to hear other suggestions from the
group, too. HTH.

I applied patch 6.10.532 this past weekend and everything is working fine. The only thing about this patch was when I started the conversion process from the initial workstation it prompted me to run the conversion program cv/cvxa0041.p. We are relatively new to Vantage and have not come across this conversion program previously.
