Vantage 8.03.407 UD Table Date Field

Hi Steven,

Thank you.

I’m changing it on the detail view. We use the list view when we paste the records into the table and it drops some fields on some records so I didn’t even try to make any changes there. I guess I will just have to live with yet another “feature” of Vantage.

Regards,

Linda

Are you changing this from the list view? If so, I know there are certain list views, specially in the UD tables that have a problem when you try and make a change. What happens is the first change takes, then you click on a field of another line and make a change. but it doesn't "stick". If you click out of that line and back in, then you can make the change. I'm on 8.03.408A and the problem still exists. Not sure if it has been fixed in 408C. No work around that I know of except to do a lot of mouse clicking or use the Detail view to make changes.

Subject: [Vantage] Vantage 8.03.407 UD Table Date Field

Hi Group,

I have a user defined table where I have to go in and change a few
fields. I change the date field to yesterday's date, change the other
fields then hit save. As soon as I hit save the date changes to today's
date. If I edit the date again and save the record a second time then
the date will stick.

I have tried picking the date from the drop down calendar and I have
tried entering the date manually.

Anyone have any idea why this happens and what I can do about it?

Regards,

Linda
