Vantage 8.03 client and Vista 64-bit OS

We have 50+ Vista64 workstations, all with Vantage installed. We have
run 5.0 - 6.1 on 64 bit machines with no issues. These older versions do
require some tweaks to get Vantage installed. Once installed all is
good. I believe 8.x installs with no issues. You can check the
Yahoogroups archives for more info there has been many threads about MS
Vista and Vantage.



If you are using ODBC that may take a special install. For the older
versions of Vantage we had to use the 32bit ODBC Data Source
administrator located in: C:\Windows\SysWow64\odbcad32.exe. This is not
the same one in "Administrative Tools".

Is anybody using Windows XP or Vista 64-bit Operating System?

We have one user with Windows XP x64 (with SP2), and Vantage 8.03.404
runs fine on their PC as a 32bit application.

However, this is a user in our Engineering department who only
occasionaly uses it so I wouldn't like to say if ALL areas of Vantage
work successfully.

So you didn't have to do anything special when you installed the Vantage
8.03 32-bit client? You just install it like normal? Thanks for the
