Vantage connection with crystal report 8.5

Set up an ODBC to your Vantage db in Control Panel. Then in Crystal,
use that ODBC DSN to make your connection to the db.
If you need Epicor's document "Implementing ODBC" let me know and I
can send it to you off group.

What is the best way to connect Progress database ver 9.1A to Crytal report ver 8.5. I am 1st time user of Crytal reports.
