You'll need the ODBC driver to connect Crystal to Progress. There is no
native connectivity for Crystal to a Progress data source.

Subject: Spam [Vantage] crystal 8.5 and vantage 5.2
I am brand new at both crystal and vantage. We currently use report builder
at work and would like to start using crystal more often. We use vantage 5.2
and Progress 9.1d. Is there a way to connect crystal reports to vantage
without installing the ODBC driver? I have been told that there is and was
wondering if this was correct. Thanks in advance for any help.
