Maybe you missed my reply on 1/29:

Click on this new group and check the box "New Page Before". Click on the
formula button to the right of "Suppress (No Drill Down) and enter this
formula: (PageNumber mod 2) = 0.

This is make this section hidden on even numbered pages and displayed on odd
number pages. That will cause the New Page before to fire.

In the actual report, you can enter the text "Intentionally Blank" if you
want that displayed to let users know that this page is just a place holder.

Hi,

I am having a problem with our customised crystl job traveller where if the traveller is 3 pages long, it still prints the 4th page header and says page 4 of 4.

This isn't a major issue if you print single travellers off from Job Entry, but when you print Job Travellers marked for mass print, it will often begin the next job on page 4 of 4, even though the job number on the header still says the job number of the previous job (i.e. the job that was on pages 1-3 of 4).

Does anybody have any suggestions as this is quite frustrating.

Thanks,

CHRIS THOMPSON

settings, you may need to remove the break or suppress the break on the
last page.

Hi Charlie,

Im not entirely sure what you mean. I don't know how to set a page break.

We are printing on duplex, so if the page qty is odd, I need to always have a blank page at the end of the print job so the next print job doesn't start on the back of the previous one.

Cheers,

CHRIS

Hi Charlie,

I now have it so if everything fits onto 3 pages, then it will only print 3 of 3 on the last page and there will be no page 4.

That's how it should work when you print them as single jobs (in job entry).

However, if you try to print all jobs marked for 'mass print', and the eg two jobs you are printing both have 3 pages each, it prints as follows:...

Page 1 Front -
Job 1 Page 1 of 3

Page 1 Back -
Job 1 Page 2 of 3

Page 2 Front -
Job 1 Page 3 of 3

Page 2 Back -
Job 2 Page 1 of 3

Page 3 Front -
Job 2 Page 2 of 3

Page 3 Back -
Job 2 Page 3 of 3

Obviously, this is no good, as it has printed the last page of job 1 and the first page of job 2 to the same piece of paper (front/back).

I need the mass print to treat every job as a separate print job (which you would expect it would do, but it doesn't).

We have duplex printers with staplers inline - we ideally want each mass printed job to print and be stapled infividually - not all stapled together.

Really, we need a blank to print (even though it will be blank) whenever the page number = odd number.

I hope you are able to help.

Cheers,

CHRIS
