View Pictures in Dashboard

Did you ever come up with a solution to this? I would like to add a zone BAQ to the EpiUltraGrid on the Job Entry Engineering tab so the user could just hover over the part and it would show the picture. I can bind it to the Part Parameter, but that doesn't really give the functionality that I need. I've also tried doing it in job entry list view, but when I set up the Zone BAQ, it looks at the Part on the Job Header table instead of the Job Mtl Table. What makes it really weird, is that it's only a problem when I am trying to show the part picture. If I am just showing data it works great off the list view.

Anyone know how to present a .gif .jpg etc. in an Epicor Dashboard directly, without clicking on anything?

We'll be on Epicor 9.05.702 x32 SQL 2012 this weekend.

Your request is a bit vague... what does not clicking on anything mean? You can display any file a normal web browser is capable of displaying in 8 or 9 using the url/xslt tool in a dashboard if you can build either a file path or URL within your BAQ.

Rob, I expect he means something similar to the image column you can set in dashboards - but he probably wants a custom image per row? These show up in the grid without clicking on anything...

Right. Engineering wants to see a dashboard grid with the drawing visible so they can quickly discard most items without looking at the Part Number, Description etc. but just browsing the pictures.

While its possible to import your own images for row rules etc, it wouldn't be practical for your application, the closest that comes to mind off the cuff is zone baq's, technically you wouldn't have to click...just hover. Not sure if that gets you as close as you want to be though...id also have to double check if it works in a grid, I know it does on an individual field on a form.
