Viewing Header Misc Charges At Invoice Entry

I'm going to download this evening and read through the release notes as well. We just upgraded to 505C so if we run in test and not see any major issues I will run this service pack this weekend and let everyone know any issues we find
Â
Thanks for the reply

This is supposed to be fixed on Epicor9 in 9.04.506 (released Monday) I downloaded the SP, but have not installed or tested yet. (or looked to see if it made it into the release yet).

We have customer service entering Order Header Misc Charges for freight at sales order entry but at the time of invoice entry the AR person is not able to view the Header Misc Charges so she is creating freight charges at the line misc charges and duplicating freight charges
Â
Anyone have a process they follow to avoid this? Run the Edit list before applying charges?

This was a bug. I'm not sure if it was fixed in 409. Since the Invoice doesn't have a misc header charge available (an oversight if you ask me), the misc header charge from the sales order is suppose to drop in as a misc line charge on the Invoice.

The way we avoid it at the moment is not to use the misc header charge on the sales order.

I don't know if you know, but this is a bug that will supposedly be fixed in 409, which is available now.
The workaround meantime is that we've been entering the freight charge as a line charge, on the last line in the order.

It's amazing that we pay support, then 408 breaks something, like this, and we have to keep paying support for them to fix what they broke.

I made a huge stink about this and they provided me with a patch at 408.
You may want to ask support to provide the patch if you do not want to go up
to 409.

Thanks, thought I was going to have to build my own tab.
