I’d like to go @kananga’s route too… just the menu, no favorite button mess between different users.
Especially since one of the first things I did was completely reorg our menus. No more duplicate customizations! 
And OOTB programs are still easily available if needed.
Too bad default interface doesn’t make use of the screen space well if just using the menu…
