When I open a search window by clicking on 'Invoice' for example, can I pass a parameter so the Supplier is already set?

I want to pass a parameter since the data has already been entered in another window. Is it possible for native controls like this?

Do you have an example somewhere or what the code would look like, I haven’t found any function to interact with the search window.

Correct it is not possible on base,

there are examples on how to write Quick Searches in the Epicor Customization and Ice guides available in EpicWeb also the Epicor Help.
Also on this forum there are several examples of how to call these searches through code in a customization.
