Our finance department would like to see job costs hit GL accounts more granularly than simply ‘WIP Material’, ‘WIP Labor’, and ‘WIP Subcontract’.
For example, we want to see the costs of different types of subcontract operations flow into separate GL accounts. Is this possible? I know we can override the default WIP GL Accounts by Product Group, but that doesn’t work in this scenario. We may have three different subcontract operations on a job of a particular product group, and costs for each of those different operations should flow into a separate account.
