I may be going about this in an overly complicated way in RB but.....
it should be doable between using the straight Date1 - Date2 calculation to get the number of days between two dates...
and the WEEKDAY(Date1) function to determine the day of the week (1=Sun, 7=Sat) for the two dates

I might go about it by calculating the days from Date1 until the next Monday and days to Date2 from prior Monday
then find the date for these Mondays (add or subtract results from above to Date1 & Date2)
then use those "Monday" dates to determine the number of weeks (MonDate1 - MonDate2) / 7 (should be whole number)
then multiply whole weeks by 5
then add back stray weekdays on each end of the partial working weeks

Then again there may be an easier way to directly use the WEEKDAY funciton like Day1 - Day2 and add to INTEGER((Date1 - Date2) / 7) * 5 but I am not completely sure how that would work - perhaps a job CASE function to determine an adjustment amount.

Some ideas anyway. I think Crystal as some more powerful Date functions for stuff like this.
