You you export the Product configurator info from JD Edwards into Epicor?

Hello,

My manager asked if it is possible to export the Product Configurator information from our child company’s JD Edwards (AS 400) and import it into our Epicor?

If you need more info than that, please let me know and I will ask my manager.

I am fairly sure that this is not possible. it would need to go through some form of conversion before being able to be imported. JD Edwards uses different technology than we use at Epicor.

I agree with Tim. But having a configurator to start with makes building it in Epicor a bit easier. It can work as the requirements document that frequently never gets written.

Are you looking to re-build the configurator using the JD Edwards data or are you looking to be able to load the JD Edwards data into Epicor so that you can re-configure it with a configurator you have already built in Epicor?

I think they are looking to do whatever is the easiest.
Is there any way at all to automate any of it?
Or will they need to just rebuild it all by hand?

to build something that automated that process would make you a lot of money if you could build that.
