Does anyone have an aprox. release date for 10.2.400? I see it referenced in some of the Insights session descriptions, wondering if it will be out beforehand so we can be current with the conference.
Circa April-May 2019* is the latest I’ve seen / heard
*forward looking statement, not intended to be taken as fact, do not base your life decisions on this, if you do I have some prime beach front property in Arizona i’d like to sell you
The general date-range seems about right. 10.2.300 was released in Sep/Oct and they’ve been running about 7-8 months between .#00 releases in 10.2 so far. It’s highly unlikely it will be available before Insights anyway. Insights is a good place to announce things and releasing it beforehand would “bury the lead.”
I’ve heard late April from the EpiCare folks… We’re looking forward to several fixes for things that broke upgrading from 10.0.700.4 to 10.2.300.7.
Any particulars? We are considering upgrading from 10.2.100 to 10.2.300, but are wondering if we should just wait until late April for .400.
What broke for you?
10.2.400 - April / May - currently in controlled release
10.2.400.2 - patch mid-may
10.2.400.3 - patch late-may
*Don’t hold me to it, all tentative
@jeowings - Here are some of the issues we’ve had from upgrading 10.0.700.4 to 10.2.300.7 a few weeks ago. We did about 6 months of testing, and still didn’t see these until LIVE:
- Grids growing on some customized forms when personalizations added (no fix yet)
- Country ISO Code error for Avalara (we had a lot of legacy customers without CountryNum or Country somehow), ran a DMT to assign them on the Customer, but the TaxSvcDtl table doesn’t use that. Should be fixed in 10.2.300.13.
- Cash App - Payment Schedules enforced making it hard for us to receive payments on terms that don’t match the payment schedule. This one is on us to learn, but Epicor let us receive anything before, now it has to match the payment schedule.
- Original (generic) Salesperson left on the quote, no longer overwritten. We have a BPM on Marketing Event Change that looks at who the user is, and assigns their salesperson and territory. 10.0 it overwrote the generic salesperson, but 10.2 it adds it as a 2nd salesperson. By having the original generic salesperson on the quote, tasks don’t work properly, commissions, etc… We need to manually delete the generic salesperson now. Epicor says this change was designed and working as intended.
- Task issues in Quote when user is not the only salesperson on the quote.
- Random columns disappearing from grids that are no longer in 10.2.300’s column collection.
- Some custom dashboards we deployed onto forms not pulling data
- UI Customizations for Handhelds - Menu Maintenance issues, needed UBAQ
- Lots of custom Dashboards and Reports that needed tweaks due to behind the scenes changes.
- File-Recents no longer shows the last 6 on several windows.
- AP Invoice Drop Ship - Obj Reference Error (fixed in 10.2.300.10 apparently)
Some may be user error on our part, and I need to re-read the 10.0 > 10.2.300 upgrade guide to see changes. Also, I’m sure 10.2.400 isn’t changing things that Epicor says are “working as designed”.
We went from 10.1.600 to 10.2.300 and are seeing a rather nasty multi-company bug because we removed the default MfgSys site. The multi-company process currently tries to sync to the mfgsys and fails and needs to be registered in the inter-company workbench. Hopeful development can get a patch in soon.
Any updates on .400 release?
SaaS users are going live in a couple of weeks.
So, I had one of my browser windows open to the E10 downloads page, and I popped in there just now and I swear I saw 10.2.400 folder show up right where I would expect it to be. I starte getting all excited and thinking about downloading but then on a whim I hit reload just to be certain I had the latest view of the page. After reload, it was gone.
Am I the only one that somehow saw this? Maybe it was just a mirage.
PS @Mark_Wonsil - didn’t they say 10.2.400 was already deployed to the cloud back at Insights? Maybe it was only in test/pilot or whatever they call it for cloud folks.
I saw the folder yesterday afternoon and checked this morning and it was gone
I was told the planned GA was going to be 5/16.
I had heard the same date and also that the Cloud customers were live the weekend before Insights…
I’m guessing the folder was setup and hidden as a pre-emptive task.

The first batch of SaaS users are going live this weekend. @aidacra told us at our regional EUG meeting yesterday that GA happens when there are no major issues leftover from the testing of the SaaS group. 5/16 may be right but it’s not a hard-fast time as it depends on the initial group.
It’s a lot like what Microsoft does today. Server 2019 has been in use in Azure for awhile now but now the on-prem users will get it after the Azure group has seen it.
No you are not the “only one”, there was a partial directory structure for 10.2.400 yesterday evening. I went out to the site to download the latest DMT Tool and noticed it there as well. I was told by Epicor Support it will be there on May 16th, which probably means May 15th evening for the US since (I think) the product updates are released in India.
+1 for May 16th. We saw a CSF subfolder for Canada for the first time which prompted some questions for us as this is not an option in 300. The entire 400 folder is now gone for me though.
It’s still there

It is just hidden from Epicweb however its empty still (or at least permissions aren’t set to where you can download anything)
