10% price increase

Did anybody else get an email about Epicor having a 10% price increase next cycle?
How do you feel about that? It seems aggressive. Especially seeing that we got hit with an 8% increase at the beginning of the year.

10% club member. What choice do we have? Epicor knows we aren’t just going to up and leave. You can’t.

What’s their plan? 10% increase every year until we are forced to move to their cloud, dynamics, or SAP?

I heard even cloud customers got a 10% increase.

My biggest question. What are we getting in return for a 10% increase? Seems nothing.

If I was seeing an increase in value, I would be fine with it.

Currently, I’m seeing more problems and unfinished and broken software.

I don’t need ai and bells and whistles. I need my reports to run. I need my development tools to work.

Seems excessive.

When you include all the labor involved upgrading everything to kinetic its more like a 150% increase. It will be so many years before we ever see a ROI, if it ever materializes

Can’t say it any better. If you’re going to charge premium prices, you need to deliver premium solutions.

That’s where I was going with this. What are they giving us that justifies a 10% increase? Is it just compounding revenue because I haven’t gotten any increase in value.

Decrease features and increase costs. It’s about revenue and profits, not value. Always has been.

It’s a huge increase. And this is on top of the great expense of trying to migrate away from the classic interface.

Sounds like the city I live in (a suburb of Savannah). New revenue streams pop up nonstop (warehouses, houses, apartments, stores), yet they “had to” raise property taxes on our houses. Why? Because they have so much growth! Right, but do the new buildings not pay tax also?

They may not. That is one way for cities to entice new business. Build something in our city and you only have to pay 25% of the normal tax for 10 years.

Well, I mean, you are most likely correct.

But I don’t like it!

Usually they don’t for some fixed period of time. Which how you end up with situations like this. Waukee faces budget shortfalls after Apple tax exemption misapplied

So who gets the price hike exemption with Epicor that makes the rest of us pay 3x inflation? (Or whatever the number is.)

And bold reports which they are giving us for “free”
