Looking into ways to make the scheduling side go a little quicker in regards to parts shortages… so I could use some help.

Something I can create for the receiving team, so they know that a part they just received is short on a job. We rarely order parts to jobs or orders, so many are received to stock without the production side always being aware that the part came in.

Something I can create for me that pulls all parts that were received in today. Again, this would be for me to verify that of the parts we received today, which are needed on jobs. This would still take a bit of manual work, that I’m hopeful I can eliminate with some research and test.
2a) Have those receipts compare to current inventory, demands, or just shortages -
A report that could be run to calculate the quantity of a build that could be completed with current inventory. (Do I have enough material to build all 5, or just 1?)

Shortages by supplier. I’d like to see what we’re missing from certain suppliers, with part numbers, quantities left to receive and due dates. This way I can try and combine parts when I ask where parts are, rather than finding additional parts after the fact and having to send multiple emails.
