6.1 PO form in CR

Dale,

That would be the Pub_PORel progress db table that Carl is talking about.

Is the POrel table you speak of the DBF work file typically located at
c:\epicor\mfgwrk60 or the Progress table?

Just curious.

Dale

We are on 6.0 and the PORel table includes ExpDivision, ExpGLDept, ExpChart.

Jim is right that you set the format of the account in the Company
configuration but you should be able to add these fields to the PO in any
order you want if you can get to the PO form.

[Vantage] 6.1 PO form in CR

Folks:

I have a request from our controller to add the GL account number to
each line item on a PO. In CR I can see the POrel.dbf file contains
the POrel.expchart and POrel.expgldept but it doesn't have the
division.

Is there a way to construct a GL account with the format {chart}-
{div}-dept (example: 7654-04-1000)?

I have tried subforms but have failed to isolate the POnum because in
the Progress table POrel it is a number and in the work file
POrel.dbf it is a string.

Any help would be appreciated?

Thanks,

Dale,

You can pick up the account information you need from the PartClass table if
you have all your parts assigned the accounts by part class.

Otherwise...
There's only one way to restructure your G/L Accounts to the format
Chart-Div-Dept, where you can set the length and whether or not they are
Alpha type fields...
and as far as I know, this can only be done in the company's "Basic
Configuration" under the "Company Maintenance," "Module Configuration," "All
Modules" section prior to entering them into your master chart.

Once you've entered your account numbers in the master chart of accounts,
there is no changing them.

Best regards,
JK
