7175 and 7210 errors

We have been on version 8.00 for 9 months, and are currently on patch
810A. Throughout these nine months, regardless of the patch, we have
periodic spasms where many users get 7210 and/or 7175 errors. We have
gotten no closure from Epicor. We have to restart the server to get
everything working OK. Then it works fine for weeks or even months
before another spasm. The only thing we might be able to relate it to
is that we sometimes have exceeded the number of open edge user
licenses just before this happens, but I am not ready to conclude
that's the cause. Any ideas or suggestions? Anyone with a similar
