Activation error 8025/7211

I ran into a problem like this more than once when the NICs in the server
were teamed, and one of them was turning off to conserve power consumption.
Not sure if the error codes were the same, but that was the problem there,
and a couple other times it was actually a problem with the switch itself
that was connecting the two servers.

Subject: [Vantage] activation error 8025/7211

We have seen some performance issues lately, with several crashes per week
where Epicor freezes up and kicks out users. We are running SQL database on
a separate server from the application and believe it has something to do
with the application not able to get a response from the database in a
timely manner, possibly network or SQL server related. Have been working
with Epicor technical support and they believe that is the issue.

Anyone else run into this error on a frequent basis?
