When our company went from 8.00.809a to 8.03.304b I noticed the
customer tracker to be much slower. We have a very large customer
with over 13,000 order line items and the lookup time doubled (from
25 seconds to 50 seconds). Even smaller customers were slower. I
tested 8.0 versus 8.03 several times, including at the server, all
tests had similar results. Tuning was the same for both datasets.
We are in a test environment, not live. I have not installed the
8.03.304c patch yet.
I called support but they said that could not be the case and never
followed up.
One theory for the cause in customer tracker is the additional
tables and linking that was added for customer "Sold To" infomration.
