To summarize the problem, there are a few jobs not scheduling
properly. One job is for 158pcs which is scheduling 3 months early and
causing purchasing to buy $50.00 worth of materials not yet needed.
Also there is another job scheduling improperly for 95pcs but it is
only scheduling 2 weeks off which still is not good but beats 3
months. Yet we build this Parts frequently and only once and a while
does the problem occur. This is very confusion for planning, trying to
figure out what is real time and what is not. We have contacted Epicor
and they said there is a CSR for this issue (SCR 49599 ) and gave us a
work around, which we tried and it did not work. They said this issue
would not be resolved until patch 405.
If anyone has seen the same issue and has figured out what the problem
is and has come up with a way to work around it please help out.
