8.03.409C Payroll Check labels

That's just for the label\id name under deductions. The label I am referring to
is at the bottome of the statement part of the payroll check that says 'Vacation
Remaining'

ARG so I spent an hour searching cause I thought due diligence had been done
that's what I get for assuming. 300 ABL queries later and 1 very long
reflector decompile it occurred to me *FACEPALM* Just go to Payroll -> Setup
-> PayType

VAC
Change Description to whatever you want.

TADA!

Has anyone found a way to change labels on Payroll checks? We'd like "Vacation
Time"Â to say "PTO"Â We don't want to move anything, add or delete fields, just
want to change the label. Epicor is saying it would have to go through custom
programming, which I assume we'd have to pay for every time we upgrade. It is
hard coded, but I figure this is a great group of smart people where someone has
found a way around that.

I don't recall but isn't it a Crystal Report???
If it is, it can be changed there. If it isn't, it may live on the DB with
the rest of the labels so a bit of searching may prove fruitful

Payroll checks aren't Crystal in Vantage. We're on 8.03.409A. As far as I know, you're stuck with what's out there or need to pay for custom programming. I would LOVE it if the payroll checks were Crystal. The labels don't work for us either and we'd also like to be able to add our own information to them.
