Changing Labels

Lynn,

Thanks, that is what I ended up doing. That was a little easier for me.

Thanks,

Cindy:

There is alternative option for your Crystal Report. To change the label on
your Crystal Report, simply open the Crystal Report to edit it. Delete the
current label and re-add a custom text box.

I would like to change the label for "F.O.B." on the Sales and Purchase Order to say "Incoterm". Does anyone know how to change the label?

Thanks,
Cindy
If you are refering to the maintenance screen, you do a customization.

But you cannot change the label. Simply Hide the Epicor label by making it invisible. You can move it to another location also. Then create a new label to read Incoterm.

If you are not familiar with customizations, then purchase the Epicor Tools User Guide for $70 from your Epicor CAM. Or if you subscribe to eLearnings, then go to MyEpicWeb and you will find an eLearning for Customization.

This is assuming you are on Vantage 8.x, and not an earlier version.

Anyone? Can we change the names on the labels??

For the 'labels' on printed documents, copy the report data definition and chage the text there, save and make new report style that uses your newly created RDD.

Were you referring to a Crystal Report or a Maintenance Screen?

What version are you on?

If you were referring to a maintenance screen in 8.x, see my posting from 8:47 this morning.

I would prefer to change it both on the screen and on Crystal reports. I am currently running 6.10.543, but I will check with my IT guy and see if he remembers how to do customizations for the screen.

I also want to change the Crystal Reports, so I will look at the suggestion below.

I'm sorry that I missed your first posting...I had checked this morning, and it did not show any responses...of course, now it does. My computer must be running slow today!!

Thanks for all of the help.

Cindy
