[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
All of a sudden my list of conversion programs cuts off at 8910 and I get this
message:

'ERROR
Attempt to update "dbo"."cnvprogs" record dara excedding 32000(12370) '

then I get
'Error
Unable to read record bufferr because it is empty (455)'

Of course I need 8920 program for a user. I've used this a hundred times now I
can't get to it.

Thanks for any ideas

We are experiencing the same error except under a slightly different scenario. My conversion list seems to be complete and I can select conversion 8920 from the list and run the conversion. It allows me to put in the company, the employee ID and when I click on Get Detailed Transactions the labor details appear and then it displays the following error.

Attempt to update CnvProgs record data exceeding 32000 (12370). When I click ok, I get the next error:

Unable to update CnvProga field (142).

In addition, now I am in this continuous loop of errors and it won't let me out of the 8920 conversion so I cannot access any of the other admin tools.

Any ideas?

This might be related to a problem I see every once and a while. It has to do with the conversion log file being to large (or an entry that is to large). Epicor has a one time fix for this (you have to ask for a new one each time the problem pops up).

[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
another small thought - disk space
remember, if you are SQL and run with the 'Recovery mode' = Full, your SQL .LDF files will grow very fast during conversion - make sure you have space or turn off
Motty

Yep, that was it. Do you know why we have to contact Epicor to get a new file each time this happens? What a waste of time. Would be nice if they could provide us with one file we could use each time we need it.
