Data Upgrade Utility

Again, I am going from memory and just trying to help.
I remember having to run a UOM generation program in the admin tools and they were only available in version 410. You then use this file to upgrade to 9.04. Then during the 9.04 upgrade, your historical financial transaction are converted to GL controls. After that you should be able to upgrade to any version of 9.05, then to E10.

If I'm remembering correctly, I think you need to upgrade to 410 then run the 9.04 UOM conversions then upgrade to 702A. There are plenty of frustrating quirks along the way and you will save a lot of time having a consulting group upgrade your database and provide detail upgrade instructions. Money well spent in my opinion.Â

Piloting a migration from 8.03.405a to E10

I installed 8.03.409c on a VM and converted db to that version.

I installed 9.05.701 on another vm and I am running the DUU

I am getting a weird error that says REPLACE/CONCAT may not result in data > 32000 bytes

Â

clicking OK on the error popup and the Schema Change window shows it is still loading data definitions ...

Â

anyone ever encounter this?
