We don't have either AMM or Advanced Shipping (on the invoice at least - still waiting to get everything installed by Epicor.   I've been told so many times that we can safely use 9.x references and training for 10 (aside from platform and reporting differences) but maybe there are some functional differences.  I was going by what I had just read in the section for Part setup and the supporting parameter tables in 10.0.700.  I would think if the functionality was in 9 or earlier it would somehow be related to Parts.  I do recall that in 6.1 we had to use a VB Form checkbox to accomplish identifying parts required to be RoHS compliant.

What about Advanced Production Management? RoHS is part of the manufacturing ‘process’ so to speak. Thinking out loud here…

We do have the APM (or will have soon) module but even the general Application User Guide does not mention any module requirements to set up Restrictions.  I see too that Restrictions are also available from Part Maintenance where on the Standard tool bar on the left side you can select "New Restriction" and from there create a Restriction Type called RoHS then assign substances and limits to that type.  Again, maybe a difference between 10 and 9.05 but given the impact of RoHS on most manufacturers I would have thought this would have been in 9 or earlier.  If not then maybe it's a nudge to upgrade.

RoHS has its own module... RoHS/WEEE Management.
