9.05.702 - Has anyone got RoHS Compliance to work?

The SCRs site just says:

SCR=86278, Part=EA-Part, Description=Part - RoHS restrictions from child materials are not used in the compliance calculation, Priority=Medium, Severity=3 - Error Workaround, Type=Application, Module=OM, Clientele ID=10056ESC, Target SP=9.05.7xx, Product=EPIC, Status=Open-SCR, Company=VN20C, SysRowID=c3ba6d14-7304-c490-e011-ec9162ffa412, Found in Version=9.05, Found in Build=9.05.605

Looks like it not only isn't really scheduled, but also not fixed in 10.

Anyone out there trying to use RoHS in E10 yet? I just got my package and am running my very first test migration even as I write this.

9.05.702 - Has anyone got RoHS Compliance to work?

I add  Substance and Restriction Type.

I add the Restriction Type to a Part in the part file and it doesn’t pull in the substance and won’t let me add it either?

Patrick,

We're also on 9.05.702A, and there is an SCR 86278 in place:

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: RoHS compliance not rolling up to parent
assembly.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR: RoHS compliance from the materials should roll
up to the main assembly.

-and -

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The RoHS restrictions are not taken into account when a part is
created with the View As Assembly flag on.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:The RoHS restrictions should be taken for the compliance methods
whichever value the View as Assembly flag has.

There are no one-off fixes available, and there is no target version on the fix.

My workaround uses a UD table and I manually update it (usually monthly).
