I finaly got this to work like it should Â… turns out that you need to add a
Sub Table View to your Foreign Key View
First do the FKV and after that click on the “New Custom View” again and
follow these steps:
View Name = TaxID (or anything you want)
Parent view = your FKV (from step 1)
View Type = Sub Table View
Sub Table Name = Customer
Then for each parent and child view columns click the middle Add button and
when you are done click the main add button.
Now you are ready to add EpiControls and assign EpiBindings and/or consume
the Dataviews inside .net layer.

I submit a support ticket last week but no one has put in contact with me,
IÂ’m stuck for the moment, but IÂ’ll let you know how it went.

Did you get this working?
I ask because I'm in a similar situation on Vantage 8.03. On the DMR
processing screen I added a custom field for RMA number, but can't figure
out how to use FKV to link the DMRHead & NonConf tables, which should be
able to join on the DMRNum.
I've set DMRHead as the Parent View Name but the only columns that show that
I can link on have nothing in common with the NonConf table (there IS
PartNum, but using that just links to the Part table). Can't really find
anything explaining how to do this very well.
