After clearing customized tracker subform doesn't work if I reselect the same record in subscribed published field

Going through some testing if I subscribe to a published ID in the parent form after pressing the clear button I clear the grid and the grid clears but if I select the same ID after clear it does not update and wont subscribe to the same ID but if I change the ID it does work. Any ideas on how to resubscribe to the same published ID after a clear?

I ended up changing the way it pulls the ID to watching a guid.
