Alert for Manufacturing Log-Off

I did it with a service connect routine.

Schedule a routine to run when you don't expect anyone to be there. (We run ours at 3:30AM)
The routine calls the GetRowsWhoIsHereRequest service and cycles it through a subroutine that send a email (poster).

Why not do a calculation based on the number of hours they worked
compared to what they should have worked (like their shift time)?



I had a report, at one time, that compared shift hours to what was
recorded. Then I knew that they "forgot".



Nope, sorry I do not have that report anymore...

The supervisor could use the shop tracker before he/she leaves. The

Hi Guys,



Just an odd one, just cut over from 6.1 to 9. Store guys are entering
bin locations and normally just use RACK as a description.

Now in epicor 9 you have to have a unique bin description, this seems
dumb. I agree with unique bin location but who cares what the
description is.





Am I missing something here, is there a check box somewhere to turn this
option off? I already have 200 rack descriptions the same from Bdase
conversion

Haven't seen anywhere to turn it off. The only consideration I've seen is
that some places there is a drop down list of all the bin's holding
quantity for a part and if you didn't have a unique description on the drop
down you wouldn't be able to tell them apart...
