We have a similiar setup and I go in to labor edit & manually and delete the idle time. That is the easiest way I have found to take care of it, then you don't have to exclude it from any reports.....
By the way, it is also easier if they actually stay logged into it all day, that way you only have one entry to delete, rather than numerous clock-in's which create an idle time entry every time.
Don't know if anyone else has a better suggestion?

An easy one I think....
Our managers and shop supervisors wanted me to setup a shop employee for them to use to log into DC workstations and access job tracker. I have setup employee 'ZZZ' and selected Supervisor and deselected everything else. Even set the employee photo as a clown. Specifically deselected "Payroll" even though we don't have that.
Concern is the idle time that will be accumulated (or if it even will be) for supervisors logging in and checking jobs. Does anyone else use a common shop employee for supervisory use? Do you have idle time issues or need to specifically exlude that employee from reports?
