Has anyone changed the way that Epicor decides what order to allocate
orders to bins? We have been using the bin ascending rule, but our bins
are labeled by aisle-shelf-bin, which does not map very well to a preferred
pick location.
We would like to use something like zones to define the allocation
hierarchy, but this would apparently mean adding a customization to enforce
this preference. Has anyone done something like this? Are we missing
something in the built-in functionality?
Thanks for any tips you might have!
