Whoa…nice collection. I have N64, original Xbox and PS2 (or PS3, can’t even remember anymore) laying around…can’t remember the last time I turned any of them on either. N64 go-to was No Mercy and the PS#? was Tiger Woods Golf.
@jhecker - Love the old Road Race on IntelliVision!!!
I’ve avoided getting a 3D printer to prevent me from ending up bankrupt.
I remember hobbies. We were all so innocent.
Last night I had a dream that I was at Insights, and didn’t go to any of the sessions. Was freaking out that I missed them!
Guess I’m thinking about work too much, lol. Our annual Epicor upgrade is this weekend (to 2024.2.8).
That’s coming for me too in a month. Did you ever get the avatax thing figured out?
Grandma’s knitting room 1979
Same for us. Good Luck!
Smart decision - I started off with a cheap $300 DIY kit many moons ago, but then upgraded to some nicer Creality printers over the years. Most of my printers are in the basement, but I keep my largest one in my office, a $1,500+ Voron V2.4 350mm³ that I built myself about 2 years ago.
It gets real expensive, real fast
@MikeGross - I was a fan of Utopia and Treasure of Tarmin (I never was very good at that one though)
The urge hits every so often. I’ve been on the fence on jumping in when the Creality HI 3D comes out.
I was looking into that as well, but opted to build my own Filament Changer. It only does 8 instead of the 16 supported by the Creality Hi, but 8 is more than enough for my needs.
If I do, I’d start with the base unit without the changer “combo” unless it’s on a good sale when it releases. I haven’t yet justified “Why” and “What” I’m going to go with a 3D printer yet though.
oh man, I just got a 3d printer, and I’m annoying the crap out of most everyone I talk to right now. (My wife, my coworkers (right @hmwillett ??))…
It’s fun for sure!
Dare I say your an avid watcher of Adrians Digital basement as well.
Prusa Core One seems to be not too bad. $$ in AUD though
I have had one for many years now… Printrbot Simple Metal with extended Z Y and X axis. 240v heated bed with Octoprint and a cut down server rack as a cabinet. Prints aren’t to bad for a printer of it’s age, but it is sure handy to to have around when you want to knock somethin up, or grab and remix from Thingiverse.
Which reminds me it’s time to bore you all with the Stop Motion assembly vid… The thing started of as a school project with my son… 38 hours and one you tube video later…
You can thank me after for never getting those 6 minutes and 27 seconds of you life back
2x playback speed FTW
You obviously had too much fun making the stop motion video.
Secretly enjoyed it and did it for a laser engraver build too
When it’s one of your children’s school projects…well you know how it goes…
Today that child is completing his Honors in Architecture and has landed his first job… Super Proud!
