Bonsai is sweet! How many do you have?
I have at least 30 or so. I live up on a mountain in Northern Vermont, so all of my bonsai are wild collected off the back roads where they regularly mow back the trees. I am trying to start at least 10 new plants a year. I have spruces, maples, birches, lilacs, and more. This year I am trying my hand at the difficult to tame eastern white pine. Wish me luck!

Here’s where Bob McCormick (of McCormick Place fame) kept his “Tank Garden.” It’s a fascinating place and inexpensive to boot. This is a part of a bigger complex including Bob’s home and Garden and a golf course.
