AP Check text amount Vantage 6.1 Crystal Report 8.5

You could write a custom function to convert dollar amounts to text. Here is a site that has a VB Function that does what you want: http://www.ozgrid.com/VBA/CurrencyToWords.htm. I have not tested their code, but a quick scan of it looks like it would work. You should be able to paste it into a Crystal function using Basic syntax, and with a few modifications have something that works. It looks like that function will handle up to trillions of dollars. Let me know if you need one bigger than that - I'm sure I could help you in that case.

Subject: {Disarmed} [Vantage] AP Check text amount Vantage 6.1 Crystal Report 8.5

My accounting folks are printing an AP check for an amount larger than $1,000,000.00
The display where the program converts the decimal value to text does not convert this amount.
It displays *1,100,965.65***********************************.
I opened the field up on the check template and reduced the font size, but nothing helps.
Has anyone ran into this, and is there a cure?
regards,

If you add my name to that check...and send it to me...I'll take a look
at the problem for you.

Last time I spoke with Support about this I was told it was a feature,
not a bug. The only way we could send over $1 million via check was to
split the check into two different checks.
