Actually I like to leave those buttons active with a different result.
Usually, a great big Eye with the caption "I'm watching you" under it.
Seems to cover a lot of ground in reducing non-sanctioned behavior.

If you want to stop games, just go to add/remove programs, Windows
Components, highlight accessories, click details, uncheck games, and click
okay.
Windows 2000 will remove all the games on the computer that normally comes
with it.
As for auditing there should be something in the Security tab of a directory
or file; but unfortunately their auditing process is not very useful, very
limited and all audits must be accessed through the Event Viewer.
That's the built in stuff anyways, I'm sure there is a third party program
out there somewhere that really does a good job and is easy to use.

Is there anyway to audit when people access a file on a stand alone
Windows 2000 Professional box.
I tried to go into the advanced properties of that file but it got a
little fuzzy for me when it asked for a user name etc
Got a problem with too many people playing SOL.EXE if you know what I
mean!
