I have deployed a dashboard to Application Studio. The dashboard has 2 BAQs. I would like to have the columns in the dashboard grids to be auto sized to the content (or the header).
As it is, some of my fields fall off the right side of the form. There is plenty of room to fit them all if they were auto sized.
I had a look through Hanna’s Kinetic Control Compendium - Experts’ Corner - Epicor User Help Forum, but I didn’t find this answer.
Interested in this same idea… and also the ability to “wrap text” and autofit row height.
Saw this image from @hmwillett in the Kinetic Dashboard Uplifts Thread from awhile ago (maybe she recalls), so somehow it is possible.
I’ve had it happen (seemingly at random) while running tests on BAQs, but can’t track down the function.
EDIT: Sorry I fixed this with the correct image: you can see the description field on this image has 2 rows of text and the rows themselves appear to be enlarged from their default height.
I don’t know if there is an option to “auto” size, but you can dictate the width of each column in Grid Model > Columns
Its a pain, but worth it.
The new autofit preview feature has been a big help and I agree that it is worth going through and setting the widths.
Does anyone have experience setting the row height? When I try to enter it does not seem to make a difference; 2 is the same as 20 and the same as 200 and the same as blank.
