Yes, that is what he means.
Manually attempt to run the report.
Notice where you input dates, you can select the DYNAMIC check boxes so that you select values like EVERY FRIDAY, 1st OF THE MONTH, etc...this way the report substitutes automatic dates.
Then, near the bottom of the report program, you will see a checkbox that says SCHEDULE and defaults to "now".
If there are no other options available in the dropdown, you will have to first set up a schedule...For us, we run a list of reports every friday afternoon.
So, I set up a schedule called Friday Afternoon, and tell it to run every Friday at 5pm.
Then, once set up, go back as if you are manually running the report. Select your dynamic date selections, and click on the dropdown named SCHEDULE.
In my case, I select the schedule called Friday Afternoon.
Hit Submit.
That should be all you need to do.
