BAQ From Epicor 10 Moved to Kinetic cannot be opened

We are in the process of uplifting from Epicor 10.2.600 to Kinetic 2024.1.10. During this process we moved over our BAQs from 10 and have had some strange issues. My latest issue is that I cannot open an Updatable BAQ used in a dashboard. When I search for the BAQ, I get blank results; however, when I type in the BAQ name into the Query ID field, it recognizes that it is a BAQ. This is noted by the fact that it does not ask to “Add New?”

Any idea what could be causing this?

Additionally, I was able to re-Deploy the dashboard in Kinetic and can run the dashboard. I need to make an adjustment to the way the BAQ is working and cannot open it.

In the browser? Or Client? The Browser BAQ editor doesn’t support updateable yet, I believe.

I am using Chrome. The BAQ is not viewable/editable from the client version as well.

Give us some some screen shots then. What are your permissions on your user account? Do you have BAQ advanced user checked? And BPM advanced user?

Updateable BAQs are not available in the kinetic baq designer until 2024.2.

You need to resurrect the classic editor in the client.

It’s the “Form To Use” option. Hold ALT while opening the BAQ editor. Here’s more info:

Thank you everyone for your help. I now see the error in my ways! I am able to see the BAQ if I open the Classic screen. Now, it is a waiting game until we can update to 2024.2.
