Absolutely, you can add anything to the Epicor menus.  There is a "program type" when you add new menu items. Select "custom report link" instead of "BAQ report" and it'll open just fine. I have many menu items that simply open web pages on my corporate intranet for various ASP-dashbaords and MSDS info, etc.

Thanks Vic,
I will look at this, although the down side is the report cannot then be run through Epicor - or can it?

Why don't you just hit the SQL View directly with Crystal? If you want to filter your view's results on the back-end, use SQL Expressions in Crystal.

Subject: [Vantage] BAQ report and SQL views
I have an SQL view for which I have created an external BAQ. I can set any criteria in the BAQ and select the data accordingly. However, when I remove those criteria and use the BAQ in a BAQ report, the Options will not work to select data. I get all the data from the view, no matter what options I set. We are on 9.05.700C.
Anyone else experienced this?
I can filter the data in Crystal, but the volume of data returned will just keep increasing and it will become a problem down the track.
