Best way to update certain userfields within a Tracker

Dave,

If you are using Epicor 9.05 you can create an Updatable dashboard that those users can access and update the fields you need them to.

Subject: [Vantage] Best way to update certain userfields within a Tracker

Hi all,

I would like to allow particular users the ability to update selected User Fields within a custom sheet in a Tracker.

We have added a custom sheet in the Sales Tracker and wish for several employees to be able to update 2 of the 9 user-defined fields on the sheet (7 remaining read-only).

What is the best method to accomplish this?

I could call out to BO's via customization but is there a better way?

Thank you,
Dave Beberman

No offence but trackers are made specifically to not update things.. As the
famous meme goes "You are doing it wrong", but in case you still want
to pursue it, I doubt there is an easier way than just bringing in your own
adapters / controls and creating a customization.

Thanks Jose,

I thought that was the answer but have been surprised before.
