Blank Screen

Thanks people, the panes were all slid to the left. Dragging them back worked.

I have seen this before.

Go to the sides of the main window and look for the cursor to change.
( Looks kinda like this: <-I-> )
When it does see if you cannot drag the windows back into position.

I see it frequently where someone has "messed" with the column widths
(intentional or accidental not sure). Position the cursor on probably the
left edge of the screen (or right edge) and see if it turns to a two-way
arrow. Drag the border over. Repeat until all screen areas (favorites,
tree view and items) are visible.

Sounds like the lower vertical windows have collapsed to the left side of
the screen.

Open Vantage to the blank screen. Run you mouse through the middle of the
screen towards the left border until you get a vertical re-sizing bar ...
then drag it to the right about half way across the screen. Repeat until
you have reopened the 3 panes.

I had this problem not so long ago. The only way I found to correct the
problem was to delete the user's account in Vantage and recreate it.
After I did this it seemed fine.

I have had this when users have slid their screens over to the side. It
is user specific. Wisenheimers on the shop floor like to do this
because they logon with the same code. People would start up data
collection and the screen would be white. My other favorite was when
they would change the colors to be white text on a white background or
black on black. With changing of the data collection screen in 5.1 we
haven't had this problem.

After you restore the Vantage window panes to their sizes as suggested earlier, you may want to uncheck "Options \ Save Settings On
Exit" to prevent more accidents of this nature in the future. Turn it on only if you need to change background colors or resize the
panes.
