BPM Aync Process Crashes

Called support on this issue and was told this is a known issue in 9.05 - so stop it! LOL

BTW, that was patch 702a

Thank you in advance,

Subject: [Vantage] BPM Aync Process Crashes

~ E9.05.607B / Progress ~

Good afternoon,

I just fired up the BPM Async Process to start using for some of my email alerts. My BPM code works fine in Sync mode.

I flip my 2 method directives into Async and then test the BPM's. No emails are received. First thing I look at is the BPM Action Log and I see the BPM Async Process stopped processing 5 minutes ago when my BPM triggered.

I restart the Task Server and then *bam* my emails are generated and verified in the Epicor-SMTP.log file. I receive the emails in Outlook and then look again and see the Async process has crashed again.

I see no errors in the Server and Task logs. I see no error in the BPMAction.log file. Restarting the Task process successfully relaunches the BPM Async Process... until an Async BPM is triggered again.

Has anyone seen this before? TIA.
