BPM Help? Blank Title 89540

Hi Norman

This is something that I would also be. Very useful for me but instead of firing the message at time of completing the labor I would do it at time of closing the job.

I would love somewhere some comprehensive tutorial on BPM in general. Does anyone know where I can find this.

Subject: [Vantage] BPM Help?

Happy Friday fellow Epicor Gurus,

I’ve been asked for a BPM that I’m almost certain is doable, however it’s
above my current knowledge level. So I’m looking for some input/guidance or
if anyone’s done something similar that I could look at. I’ve done a few
BPM and I understand how they work, the area I struggle with is SQL Query’s
to base the BPM on. Here’s what we’re looking for:

We would like a BPM to be triggered when a jobs *final operation* is checked
as *completed* in Labor Entry/End Actively. The BPM should then check to
make sure all the materials on the job have been issued complete. If not it
should then raise a message box that says something to this effect:

“The following Materials have not been issued to job number: [JobNum]

[MtlNum] [PartNum] [PartDescription]
[Qty]

These parts need to be issued before completing this final operation. Would
you like to completed the operation without issuing these parts? “

This is basically what we’re looking for, it’s a little flexible. We just
really need a notice that all the material is not issued before the final
operation is completed and the auto receipt happens.

Any help, thoughts, comments would be greatly appreciated.

Have a great weekend,
