Thanks for the info Cliff. May I ask what are the specs on your new TS?

Toby
I don't know how many of your 170 users are on Terminal Service.
According to Ben Nixon at the Sys Admin class at Perspectives. A 3 GHz,
4GB ram Terminal Server is only good for 20-25 V8 users.
I'm on 6.0 with 60 users on one terminal server. I'm literally
laying the OS on my second Terminal Server while I type this.

We currently have vantage 6.10 on this HP Server. I have inserted a
screenshot of some resources and system properties. Our vantage database
actually resides on a RAM-SAN so we don't have much disk I/O on this
machine. The database settings were tweaked by Epicor to help us
maximize our server's resources. We have been experiencing more and more
slow downs over the months are as we plan on going to Vantage 8.03 we
are also planning on a new server, any recommendations on hardware? We
run 3 terminals servers and thinking about adding two more. We have
about an average of 170 clients connected simultaneously.

Sorry about my previous post, I didn't realize we couldn't use
screenshots. Anyway we have four Xeon 3.06 processors that are utilized
at about 70% each and 4GB of RAM on Windows Server 2003.
