Rather than resurrect an old topic thread, Business Objects in Kinetic 2021, I thought that perhaps it was better to create a new topic and simply reference the old one. We have just started the process of upgrading from ERP 10.2.200.40 to Kinetic 2023.1.x., and we still have much to learn about the latter. Since going live back in 2017, we have relied upon the Business Objects Reference for the various versions that we’ve used, but such a reference no longer exists. According to the posts in the old topic, all or most of the BO’s still existed and were supported in Kinetic 2021, just the methods for communicating with them were different. I presume those statements are still true for Kinetic 2023. So, what is the best reference now to take the place of the old Business Objects Reference?
A couple of options:
- The Swagger API page using the RPC methods.
- The associated XML files in the Client folder has signature information too.
I’m sure there are others. Like Ice tables…
