Hi. We have recently upgraded to Kinetic from E10 and are reviewing many processes. One thing that has been raised is booking transport and calculating the space on a trailer. Our shipments can fill a lorry and we currently have a manual process in Excel for determining load v space. Has anyone tackled this within Kinetic itself (or even via a linked 3rd party app), and how? Thank you
Epicor does allow you to indicate a net volume for a part:
I can only dream of a day where we have it together enough to actually implement this, so I’ve never actually played around with it, but supposedly this info is useable in Fulfillment Workbench. It says it will automatically tally up the total volume of all order releases you have selected for fulfillment:
Thank you for replying. We do use that field to show on paperwork for our hauliers but we don’t currently use Fulfillment Workbench as it seemed overly complicated for some of our processes. I will have another look at the Help for this but it’s not just about a total volume but also which boxes can be stacked on which boxes, or how many are allowed per stack too 
I am not aware of any other out of the box Epicor process that leverages the part net volume data. Anything you come up with would most likely need to be custom.
