Calling for any and all Vantage PLM-Pro.File/Pro.Cad-any users/p

My apologies to all of you PLM evaluators. I did not see the thread
earlier.

We DO run the ProFile PLM software integrated with Vantage and
Solidworks. We did not get it thru Epicor but rather a ProCad
reseller in the Netherlands (we have a sister company there). We
have been running it now for about 2 years and we are in the process
of getting our Colorado office up and running on it. I could type on
for hours (good and bad). Please feel free to contact me via
email/phone jeff.mauro@... 804-520-5400 if you
want to discuss further.

Jeff

Several weeks ago, I posted an email requesting any response from current/existing PLM users.I got one response back from 1 new user in the middle of an implementation in Greensboro,NC. Really?!!! no other Vantage PLM users on this forum?
Has anyone looked at this product and decided to go another route?
as you can tell, I'm desperately eager for feedback-anything whether you chose to go another route entirely or not.
We are looking at various PLM systems and I'm not at full ease with the clunky features and the really high learning curve of what I see so far.
Thanks
RSN

[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
I too posted a request for PLM information, and similarly only
received a very limited response. We are a UK manufacturing company
and I understand from our Epicor consultant that there are a VERY
small number of users here in the UK. We are also trying to evaluate
the functionality of PLM before making the decision to implement the
software.

I am hoping that Epicor will be able to provide some further
information for us, and will update you if I learn more. In the
meantime if there are any ProCad users out there I would also be
interested to learn of your experiences.

Many thanks,
Nick Taylor

We are also in the evaluation stages. Epicor PLM looks promising, but
our Engineers want to go with the solution created by the developer
of their modeling package. There is no integration with Vantage
there, so we would have to have something custom written.
Good Luck,
Craig
